I write about social learning for people who want to help children and teens learn to navigate the social world — in ways that increase their sense of social self-efficacy and affirm their self-worth.

I am a social learning specialist in private practice, the Director of Social Learning at a preschool-8th grade independent school in Los Angeles, and I serve on a task force on inclusion and diversity for my local public school district. Lately I’ve been writing social learning curriculum, supporting teachers in SEL implementation, coaching parents of autistic kids in my parent education groups, and running a few small social learning groups after school (just to keep it real!).
